Aditi Rao Hydari unveils the first look poster for her 'Jubilee' series, which will premiere on this date

Aditi Rao Hydari debuted her first look poster for the upcoming series 'Jubilee' on Monday.
Aditi shared the poster on Instagram with the caption, "presenting superstar 'Sumitra Kumari' whose alluring silver screen life had everything and yet nothing that truly mattered! #JubileeOnPrime New Series, Apr 7.'
Aditi will play the character Sumitra Kumari in the series.
The series, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and starring Aparshakti Khurana, will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on April 7, 2023.
'Jubilee,' set against the evolution of both India and cinema, reveals the stories and dreams that gave birth to the Hindi film industry as we know it. Set against the backdrop of Indian cinema's golden age, Jubilee is a thrilling yet poetic tale centred on a cast of characters and the risks they are willing to take in pursuit of their dreams, passion, ambition, and love.
Jubilee, according to Vikramaditya Motwane, is a "human story."
Jubilee has been a love story in the making for me since I was an assistant director enamoured with the film industry even when there wasn't a story to tell. While the series is set in that celebrated era of cinema, at its heart, Jubilee is a very human story with narrative themes that will resonate with everyone - which is what initially drew me to the story. To stay true to the era, we painstakingly researched every aspect of the series. It's been the most incredible journey, made possible by the support of a fantastic studio, some of the most incredible actors, and the best possible crew ever. Every day on this series has been a delight, and I can't wait for the rest of the world to see what we've all accomplished," Vikramaditya said.
Prosenjit Chatterjee, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sidhant Gupta, Nandish Sandhu, and Ram Kapoor also play pivotal roles in the series.
