Yo Yo Honey Singh To Provide A Sneak Peek Into His Lifestyle With Upcoming Netflix Docu-Film Produced By Oscar Winning Guneet Monga

On his birthday, Netflix will release a documentary about rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. Guneet Monga, an Oscar winner, will produce the film.
Netflix is planning a documentary film about the life of rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. On the occasion of Honey Singh's birthday, Netflix India took to Instagram to reveal the documentary film's teaser. "Singh-ing at the top of our lungs because Honey Singh's latest documentary is coming soon to Netflix," a post on Netflix India's Instagram page read.
Yo Yo Honey Singh, directed by Mozez Singh and produced by the Oscar-winning Sikhya Entertainment, will take his fans through unseen and unheard chapters of his life with raw and candid revelations that capture his highs and lows. The docu-film documents his personal and professional journey, with behind-the-scenes footage from Hirdesh Singh aka Yo Yo Honey Singh himself, as well as sit-downs with family members, friends, and music collaborators who have supported him throughout.
According to Honey Singh, the documentary-film will provide a "honest" account of his life.
"I've previously spoken about my personal and professional issues in the media, but I've never been able to bear it all. My fans have shown me a lot of love, and they deserve to know the whole story. "This Netflix docu-film will provide everyone with an honest and sincere account of my life, upbringing, where I've been, and my current journey to return stronger," he said.
"Yo Yo Honey Singh took over the Indian Music industry by storm," said Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment. His music spoke to the youth. Singh was a celebrity long before he became well-known in the media. His tumultuous rise to fame captivated an entire nation, as well as us at Sikhya. This was a story I wanted to investigate. Fortunately, Netflix has always supported and distributed unique, diverse local stories to a global audience, creating a perfect fit for a bare-it-all, authentic docu-film like this. We're excited for you to meet the man behind the country's rap and hip-hop music, as well as learn about the path that led to his success and the controversy that followed."
The project's release date has not yet been announced.
