Anurag Thakur praises India's advancement in IT ahead of Silicon Valley in the United States

According to Union minister Anurag Thakur, India is technologically ahead of Silicon Valley in the United States. One example is the Covid immunization certificate, which is available digitally in India but is still issued on paper in other nations.
According to him, the nation is currently transitioning to a digital economy as "chaiwala to fadiwala" (roadside sellers) use the Internet to conduct their daily business.
He stated during a gathering of party officials at Una last night that since the BJP took office in 2014, digital transactions of Rs 12.62 lakh crore had been recorded in the nation, according to a release on Sunday.
According to Thakur, inflation was 12 percent and "corruption" was pervasive nine years ago, when the Congress-led administration at the federal level was in charge. India's inflation rate is 5.7 percent at a time when nations like the United States are dealing with an 8.3 percent inflation rate, he claimed.
He added that foreign direct investment has increased by two times compared to the previous Congress administration, and that the country's economy would develop at a rate of 7% under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. There are 90,000 startups in the nation, he claimed.
During the challenging Covid era, he claimed, the central government provided free coronavirus vaccinations to 220 crore citizens and spent Rs 4 lakh crore to provide free food grains to 80 crore needy people for 28 months.
India is ahead of America's Silicon Valley in the field of information technology (IT), he claimed, as the Covid vaccine certificate is available digitally on phones there while it is still only available on paper in other nations.
Regarding Budget pronouncements, he claimed that the Budget's increase in the capital spending allocation to Rs. 10 lakh crore will result in the creation of a sizable number of employment. Additionally, a provision for a Kisan Credit Card of Rs 20 lakh crore has been provided, which will be very advantageous to farmers.
He reminded party members that there are 400 days till the country's 2024 Lok Sabha elections and urged them to cooperate and work hard to maintain their position of leadership. He claimed that the BJP would win all four of the seats in the Himachal Pradesh legislature and once more create a strong administration at the national level.
