PM Modi appears in Parliament wearing a blue "sadri" jacket made from recycled plastic bottles

According to sources reported by news agency PTI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi donned a unique jacket to Parliament on Wednesday that was constructed from recycled plastic bottles. In the Rajya Sabha, Modi was spotted sporting the light-blue sleeveless "sadri" jacket.
The Indian Oil Corporation gave the Prime Minister the jacket on Monday in Bengaluru at the start of the India Energy Week.
Modi announced the "unbottled" effort and the commercial debut of the company's indoor solar cooking system's twin-cooktop variant at the occasion.
He was also given an Argentina football team shirt, which featured the name of renowned striker Lionel Messi on the back. It was given as a present by Pablo Gonzalez, the head of YPF, a majority-owned energy firm in Argentina.
The Prime Minister emphasised at the occasion that India is the best country in which to invest in the energy sector. "The future of the globe in the twenty-first century is heavily influenced by the energy sector. India is currently one of the loudest voices in the development of new energy sources and the energy transition. The country, which is likewise on track to become a developed country, has hitherto unheard-of opportunities in the energy industry " he said.
