PM Modi leaves Sunak and Biden behind, got highest approval rating among 22 global leaders

Prime Minister Narendra Modi topped the approval ratings of world leaders on Friday, February 3, according to a recent survey.
Surveys conducted by Business Intelligence company Morning Consult on 26-31. January saw the Indian prime minister ranked No. 1 in a ranking of 22 world leaders, including British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and US President Joe Biden.
The Indian Prime Minister topped the list with an approval rating of 78 percent, followed by Mexican President Lopez Obrador and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese with 68 and 58 percent respectively.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is fourth on the list with a rating of 52 percent. Brazilian President Lula de Silva is fifth with a 50 percent approval rating. In sixth and seventh place were US President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau with a combined rating of 40 percent.
According to Morning Consult, global leaders and country trend data is based on a seven-day moving average of all adults in a given country with a margin of error of +/- 1-4%. All countries except the United States have a sample size of approximately 500 to 5,000. Surveys are weighted in each country by age, gender, region, and, in certain countries, education breakdowns based on official government sources.
