Rahul's "wild Allegation" Spree in Parliament

On Tuesday, February 7, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju stopped Rahul Gandhi from continuing his tirade of accusations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament. The Gandhi scion was ejected from the Lok Sabha during his address after Rijiju admonished him against making "wild allegations" and insisted that he provide evidence for his statements.

"Just one thing, Rahul Ji. Like a senior MP today, we want you to speak seriously as your other lawmakers in this Parliament do. We have no control over the speeches you make outside the House. But in this situation, your words should be taken seriously. This is the tradition," Rijiju said

Relationship between PM Modi and Adani

Rahul Gandhi claimed that the relationship with industrialist Gautam Adani started many years ago, "when Narendra Modi was Gujarat's CM," but the Law Minister stepped in to correct him. The Wayanad MP referred to Adani by saying, "One man joined him in standing shoulder to shoulder. He supported Modi and worked closely with him to develop the notion of a resurgent Gujarat."

The MP emphasized how during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the youth discussed how Adani is now in 8–10 sectors and how his net worth increased from $8 billion to $140 billion between 2014 and 2022, raising the question of whether any "miracle" occurred in Adani's favor. Adani's ranking in the list of the world's richest people rose from 609 in 2014 to 2 in 2022.

"Everywhere we turn, from Tamil Nadu and Kerala to Himachal Pradesh, we hear the word "Adani." All around the nation, all you hear is "Adani," "Adani," and "Adani." "Stated the Wayanad MP.
