The second test match between India and Australia is scheduled to begin tomorrow at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The hosts hope to extend their lead of 1-0 by winning this test match.

The Indian side easily won the first test match at Nagpur by an innings and 132 runs, and it is crucial for it to win the four-match series under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy by a score of 3-0 or 3-1 if it hopes to secure a spot in the 2022–2023 World Test Championship finals.

Rahul Dravid, the head coach of India, recently spoke to the media. He answered numerous questions from journalists about a range of topics, but there was one issue for which he lacked a definitive response.

Rahul Dravid was questioned by a journalist over the lack of left-handed pacers in the current Indian team, despite the fact that in the past, the country had quality left-handed pacers like Ashish Nehra, Irfan Pathan, etc. He also cited Mitchell Starc and Shaheen Afridi as international examples when he questioned why India was unable to bolster its left-handed pacer pool.

Being a left-handed fast bowler alone is not enough to earn a spot in the team, as Rahul Dravid, who is unquestionably the genuine gentleman of the game, made clear to the journalist.

Dravid admitted to the reporter that he had forgotten to get the name of former pacer Zaheer Khan and said that team management authorities and selectors continue to seek for players with similar talent. Arshdeep Singh has excelled in ODIs and Ranji Trophy games, according to Dravid, who also noted that the youngster is still developing. Rahul Dravid claims that while there are other players succeeding, merely being a left-handed pacer is insufficient; a bowler must also deliver.

The journalist, however, was not satisfied with the head coach's response, so he interrupted him mid-sentence and began demonstrating to him how effective left arm pacers can be against batters.

Rahul Dravid comes up with a sly reply by asking the reporter whether he knows any left-arm bowlers who are 6 feet 4 inches tall. He admitted to taking the names Mitchell Starc and Shaheen Afridi, although we don't often see left-handed pacers who are 6 feet 5 inches tall in India.

What do you say? Even Rahul Dravid occasionally loses his temper, but that's also important.
